How’s this one world currency thing gonna work?
Nicole asked:
OK so today i heard about some meeting with a bunch of important people and it had something to do with them meeting about the failing economy and about a one world currency. And i heard that they want to start the one world currency thing in 2010. Well that’s good and all but how do we get money if we still have our current money? And what are they going to do with all of the useless money that’s going to be there?

It is not good. For instance why should America tell Australia how their economy should be controlled or vice versa. George Washington stated that the downfall of the US would be entangling alliances with other countries… we should have taken his advice to heart. PS.. when you ask a question like that you should put a link with your source.
There’s no way this is going to happen. This would destroy the economy completely and cause mass confusion and major bank runs.
No way that would not work
There WAS a meeting of a bunch of important people about the failing markets on Friday in New York. There was absolutely no suggestion of a one-world currency. No one anywhere would be interested in that because it would be pointless and completely unworkable.
through fractional reserve banking only a small percentage of money actually exists in the form of paper notes and metal coins, I think in the US the fraction of real money to fictional bank credit is about 1:50, therefore, switching over to a world currency would be as simple as changing some digits on a computer screen, other than that, the paper will be turned in and exchanged for whatever worthless piece of paper they want to replace it with, the old paper will cease to be legal tender, and so they can just burn it or throw it in the trash or recycle it or whatever.
